Vortex Private Beta
This page contains instructions to get started with Vortex Private Beta.
Firstly, to participate in the Vortex Private Beta, you need to hold a Counter-Strike Genesis ONFT.
Steps to tokenize your skins:
Visit Vortex Private Beta.
Connect your wallet. If you are not a Genesis holder, access to the page will be blocked.
Connect your Steam account.
Once connected, you will see your inventory. The inventory must be public and contain weapons without a trade lock. Additionally, Steam Guard must be active on a mobile device for at least 7 days.
You can then select up to 5 items to tokenize. Due to Steam's anti-spam policy, 5 is the maximum number of trades we can send in a short period.
Click on "Tokenize Selected Items".
A pop-up will appear, showing the selected items, an input field for the trade URL, the wallet address to which the token will be minted, and the chain (only Polygon in this first phase). There are no gas fees required to tokenize on Polygon i.e. gas fees are fully handled by MetaZero contracts.
After confirmation, a loading animation will start. Once it finishes, the window will close, and the inventory will be updated. You should then open Steam and confirm the trade. If the trade is declined, the bot will send another one. If declined again, the wrapping process will be canceled.
In the history tab, you can follow the latest status of your wrappings, along with a full history of statuses and timestamps. If the trade is accepted, the history tab will display a green message at the top and a link to Rarible, showing the actual tokenized skin on the Polygon blockchain.
Outbound Tokenization will be added next.
The Vortex Private Beta will feature super frequent updates to the platform, including UI/UX changes, feature additions, and bug fixes. The dashboard should be live within the next few days.
